About

Greg Glover
When the presidential candidates came to Tennessee, I went to Nashville to cover the debate. When a local high school band was invited to the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, I flew to the Big Apple to march with them and tell their stories. When Chattanooga landed the US Volkswagen plant, I followed the new Passat from Wolfsburg, Germany, to the Motor City.
Currently at the helm of our top rated 5:30 and 11PM shows, I turn a package and update the web site, Facebook, and Twitter, daily. Ever the team player, I take my turn at sports, snatch up a spare camera for breaking news, and even cut my teeth as a fill-in weather man for a couple of weeks! I work the Crime Stoppers beat, cover the Band of the Week during football season, moderate a weekly political talk show and keep a "go bag" in the trunk of my car, ever ready for the next adventure.
A background in radio and theatre lends me an unconventional skill set and greater creativity than the traditional anchor. In search of compelling stories, I have flown in bombers and biplanes, been tasered and even attacked by police dogs. After interviewing politicians, pro athletes and Pavarotti, I know the most powerful emotion and straightest talk comes not from the official, but from the eyewitness.
